First Step
Starting off-Tree/Topo
We begin with Tree/Topo of the lot. This allows the Builder to know if any trees will need to be removed where the house will be placed. The elevations also help to view possible drainage issues.Next Step
Plot Plan
Some Builders prefer us to draw up the Plot Plan. We can do this for an extra charge. We can also take the Plot Plan designed by your team and use it to stake the envelope.next step
Envelope Stake
We can place the 4 corners of the house envelope according to the plans. If needed, elevations can be written on the stakes. The stakes allows the Builder to place the forms without encroaching on any setbacks or easements.next step
Forms Survey
Sometimes called a Setback Inspection, we can do the forms survey to let the Builder know that the forms are placed according to the plans or envelope staking and not encroaching onto setbacks. The results are provided to the Builder immediately to let them know if the forms are within the setback tolerance. Then 1-2 days later the form survey drawing is ready.
During the construction of a new Community, we provide the
Builder with a Tree/Topo, a Plot Plan, an Envelope Staking of
the plans, a Form/Setback Survey, and a Final Survey.
